Kevin Tong's New Print Series "Transmissions"

Kevin Tong's new print series is pretty stunning! There are five individual prints, each with an edition size of 200. They are 18 x 24 inch, two color screen prints on 100 lb cover paper. Transmissions, one through five, are available individually and as a set, at a discounted price and FREE shipping. Individually, they are $30, the set of five costs $100.

Badass Cinema Photos

Last night was Badass Cinema at Gallery 1988, a one night showcase of movie artwork brought to you by the amazing people behind Mondotees.com and The Alamo Drafthouse. Harry Diaz was there doing live screen printing of designs he did: Gizmo, Mr. T, Clint Eastwood, Godzilla, and Bruce Lee. Kevin Tong was there selling some Lebowski prints he worked up, as well as custom drawings from any movie upon request... great idea!

Kevin Tong gets down

Kevin Tong has been up to no good these days, getting crazy with posters, book projects, vinyl toys, fine art, etc. Here are a couple of upcoming shows to check out. He will give his interpretation of The Venture Brothers, and The Tick at this show, called "Crusaders and Haters." The show will be at The Royal T Gallery in Culver City. http://www.royal-t.org/


He will also be one of many artists to rock out in Gallery 1988's infamous "Crazy for Cult Show" in LA in July 16th. You definitely shouldn't miss this one. http://crazy4cult.com/

Artwork and No Play - Group Art Exhibition!

Just in time for Halloween, Phone Booth Gallery put on a group show dedicated to the movie "The Shining," by Stanley Kubrick. Exhibiting artists included: Garry Booth, Aurora Armijo, Iain Macarthur, David Owen, Caspar Williams, Pfft, Jack Rossi, Chester Burnett, Jason "Jzn" Liwag, Mark Michelon, Kevin Bannister, Quyen Dinh, Arlene Reyes, Ryan Milner, and Kevin Tong. The wonderful Mr. R. Black rocked the heck outta the show print:

Eggs and Sausage Group Exhibit

Our group exhibition dedicated to Tom Waits was pretty awesome! A ton of people came out and had a blast with us at House of Hayden on Long Beach, CA. Dave Hayden treated us like kings, and hung the artwork in his psychedelic suspension technique... Exhibiting artists included: David Rankin, Aurora Armijo, Shannon Freshwater, Jaya King, Karin Hassler, Billy Dyson, Dave James, Irene Grishin-Selzer, Illworx, Sherlock, Mark Michelon, Ryan Milner, Evanimal, Erik Lomen, Brandon Clark, Andrew Loder, Garry Booth, Arlene Reyes, Kevin Bannister, Chester Burnett, Ken Meyer Jr., David Owen, Marisela, Nick Marquez, Nathan Wettstead, and David Atkinson. Kevin Tong did the widely acclaimed Show Print:
